Looking Back at 2024 and Forward to 2025

Happy New Year to all our supporters,

As we welcome the new year, we celebrate the milestones of 2024—a year defined by growth, connection, and unwavering support for cancer survivors and their families. Each Moment We’re Alive (EMWA) achieved remarkable progress, supporting hundreds of survivors through free programs, including the transformative Living A New Day After Cancer Treatments End (L.A.N.D.) program.

“L.A.N.D. has been a wonderful addition to my journey of self-help and self-healing. The willingness of our group to share their stories and journeys is the best part of it. I know I will revisit the workbook and reflect on all the topics and assignments during quiet moments. My biggest goal is to start journaling—as soon as I decide which notebook to use (haha). Thanks for everything! I am so impressed with this program and would highly recommend it to others. I’m a one-year survivor!”

Heartfelt testimonials like this inspire us and affirm the impact of our work. This year, we also expanded our webinars and support groups, ensuring even more survivors have access to the resources they need.

Our community came together through events such as cornhole tournaments and celebrity bartending, raising essential funds to advance our mission. We also made strides toward inclusivity by enhancing accessibility and diversity in our support groups. The growing waitlist for our survivorship programs underscores the increasing demand for our services. With your support and these inspiring testimonials, we are ready to embrace the challenges of 2025.

Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be a transformative year. We are dedicated to expanding access to our programs, developing resources for diverse communities, and deepening our impact. Our priorities include:

• Broadening services for survivors.

• Launching additional workplace cancer support initiatives.

• Building more partnerships with local employers.
